Winter wonderland close to the farmette

It's another grey day in Grey County and it's supposed to snow again later. It was stunningly clear, cold and bright yesterday, which was Rob's birthday.

We had a quiet day, with a Facebook video visit with our great friends Jane and Dana (on the left of the picnic table) topped off with a delicious dinner at our local restaurant. This photo is from a looong time ago at their cottage on Sturgeon Point. Many great memories there.

The trail where the riders nicely pat down the snow for my convenience. Yes, that's my shadow.

Of course, then all hell broke loose when the American orange idiot declared a trade war on Canada. Makes me so sad and mad and arrrrrrggghhhh. Nuff about that...on to a more soothing, though chilly (like -15C) topic.

Yesterday on my ramble I noticed how much the town has changed in the last week. We really got a tonne of snow, so I thought I'd do a wee collage of what I saw through my iPhone lens. Until next week.
